This passion has fueled his dedication to the field for over 29 years, during which he has helped countless patients achieve their dream smiles.
Dr. Selnes's educational path has been one of excellence and commitment to the field as well. He received his Doctorate of Orthodontics from the prestigious University of Toronto in 1997 and further honed his skills with a Cleft Lip, Craniofacial and Pediatric Dentistry Residency from Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
His impressive academic journey includes a Gold Medal in the BA/BPHE program from Queen's University and a Master's of Science in Biomechanics, sponsored by the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC).

Dr. Selnes is not only a respected clinician but also an educator, serving as a Senior Clinical Instructor for Adult Orthodontics at the University of Toronto Graduate Orthodontic Program. He has served on the faculty council for the University of Toronto and was one of the founding board members of the U of T Orthodontic Alumni Association.
He generously shares his knowledge and experience with future orthodontists, ensuring that the next generation of professionals is equipped with the skills and passion needed to provide exceptional care. He's served as a Senior Clinical Instructor for Adult Orthodontics at the University of Toronto Graduate Orthodontic Program.
