Our Mississauga office isn't your typical orthodontic practice. It's housed in a beautifully restored 1861 church rectory, a true testament to our commitment to both history and modern care.
Dr. Selnes spent over a year searching for the perfect location, and when he first saw this building with its gorgeous brick exterior and charming red door, he knew he had found something special. It was love at first sight.
Working with a "design team" that included his wife Helene and her father Zelko, a general contractor, Dr. Selnes embarked on a journey to restore this historic gem. Every detail was meticulously considered, from preserving the original brickwork and window casings to restoring the magnificent centre hall staircase. The result is a blend of historic charm and modern functionality that creates a warm and inviting space for our patients.
The iconic red door, a symbol of welcome and warmth, still stands proudly at the entrance, inviting you into a space where modern orthodontic care meets timeless elegance. And as part of the vibrant Erindale Village community, our building stands as a symbol of our commitment to our patients and our city's rich heritage.
